MERRY CHRISTMAS to you and yours!!! We hope all our lovely readers are having a great holiday with relaxtion, laughter, family, friends, good food, and lots of hot cocoa!
We know we have been bad little bloggers the past couple of weeks, as promised we were completely swamped with final projects. It was a crazy time! Now we are able to enjoy a little rest. Unfortunately, break means the separation of the Tailored Two. Just for break though so don't worry! This photo session occurred last time we were together. We enjoyed some Christmas movies, some friends, and then a little photo shoot.
We will continue to blog through this site for the next month but unfortunately it will be separately for a while. Until next time! XOXO

Dear Darling Readers,
The Tailored Two apologizes for not posting as much as we would like the past week or two and for the rest of this month. Those of you in school understand how much work it is during finals time! The two of us are working on projects on top of projects. Its exhausting but we know it will be worth it:)

The pictures you see here are from a lovely evening out with some fellow class mates to a favorite restaurant in Manhattan called Max Brenner Chocolate by the Bald Man. A restaurant with this kind of name better have something to back it up, and we can honestly say each and every dessert lives up to it.
This is Megan, we love her coat!

Street Style

We got this photo the Saturday we were headed to the flea market. As we walked past this girl, we turned to each at the same time, wordlessly, we decided to run back to ask for her picture. We had to have it, her look was so adorable.

Nature + Heels don't mix....

...But they do look good!

Sweater- Zara
Pants- H&M
Shoes- Nine West
This past weekend I left the city and Melissa behind, (sorry hunny!) to go to one of my best friend's, from my hometown, cabin in the woods. It was the perfect weekend, and of course it being so gorgeous I couldn't pass up the opportunity to dress up and smile! It was a very relaxing and much needed weekend.

The sweater in this picture is one of my favorites, it is so comfortable and so versatile. I am a huge fan of the slouchy sweater and with the little applique to add a bling it's perfect for me.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend!

Rainy Days=Lazy Days

 On Melissa:
Sweater- Artizia
Jeggings and Necklace-American Eagle
Flats-Steve Madden

 On Aubrey:
Hoop Earrings-H&M
Sweater- Saks Fifth Avenue Outlet
Bandeau- Artizia
Tights-Vintage
Shoes- Kate Spade

So today was one of those rainy days, where you want to stay snuggled in bed all day.  Everyone has an outfit for these kinds of days, "The Lazy Day Outfit".  So we thought we would post ours.

Aubrey is wearing one of her favorite sweaters that was a final purchase before coming off to school, and has been thoroughly happy with the purchase ever since. Its one of those pieces that you can throw on when you are in a hurry to go out and run errands, super comfortable, but still adorable to wear out in public.

Melissa is wearing a new item, but has an old timey feel.  It's a ripped up sweater that reminds Melissa of the Rodarte Fall 2008 Ready-to-Wear collection.  One of her personal favorite collections consisting of loosely knitted garments, inspired by  Japanese horror films.  The Artizia sweater is a more wearable item for everyday use with an edgy feel.

New Kids on the Blogosphere

Welcome to our blog! Melissa and Aubrey reporting to fashion blogging duty. We are two fashion students studying in the big apple, and loving every minute of it! We intend to use this blog to share our style(s), and a whole lot of NYC street style. You'll come to know us as two girls, with absolutely nothing in common, except of course our love of fashion and each other!
