Anyone who is in or around New York City at the moment knows how unbelievably, bone-chilling, toe-numbing cold it has been the past few days. Despite weather that made us want to throw on oversized sweaters and watch movies for the last day of our winter break, we decided to venture out to one of the New York landmarks that neither of us had been to during the past few years living here: the Brooklyn Bridge. Walking the bridge has always been one of those touristy attractions that feels like something every New Yorker should do at one point during their time there. We decided to document this right of passage to share with you!

One week until we are back at school! We are both so excited to be back in the city soon. Until The Two are reunited though, we decided to do one last separate post about our love obsession with one of our ongoing favorite trends: leather. Leather has been huge this season from bold, all-over looks to the more subtle details we have in our jackets here.

Currently, on of our favorite trends is bold, metal accents. Since the Tailored Two are in separate locations for holiday break we decided to play around with this trend to create a cohesive post.

On a separate note, we have officially surpassed 200 followers between Bloglovin and GCF! Thank you so much to all our lovely readers. We have had a very up and down journey with our blog thus far because there are moments it sometimes takes the back burner to our schooling, internships, and just everyday life. Now we have our momentum back up and are resolved to put more effort into the blog because we truly enjoy it!

Aubrey: Last spring I had the opportunity to intern with the design team for the clothing label Parker. This internship quickly turned into a love affair with the vibrant colors, feminine details, and of course amazing designs. I introduced Melissa to Parker as well and now we are Parker Girls through and through.
